The latest numbers are in — here’s what’s happening across Metro Vancouver.

Downtown Vancouver rents climb but still remain below last year’s highs: Average rent for an unfurnished one-bedroom climbed to $2,818, which is up 4.1% since May but still 2.9% lower than this time last year.

Unfurnished one-bedroom rents down $129 year-over-year: The average price for an unfurnished one-bedroom in Metro Vancouver is now $129/month lower than in July 2024.

Burnaby sees the largest annual rent drop in Metro Vancouver: Average rents for unfurnished one-bedrooms are down 7.6% compared to last year, with Central Burnaby experiencing a 16.1% decline.
